Our pledge to you
Your wedding reception should create memories that last a lifetime. At Music Man Productions, one of Iowa's best DJ and MC services, we've been creating lasting memories for nearly years.
- We will promptly respond to all communications initiated by our valued clients.
- We will meet personally with the couple at their convenience to review all of the details of the reception. If the couple is unable to meet in person, we will hold the consultation session over the phone or through video conferencing (Zoom, Facetime, etc.).
- We will allow ourselves ample time to set up equipment before guests arrive, usually at least 90 minutes in advance of the scheduled start time.
- We will present a professional personal appearance at all events, with attire suited for the occasion and agreed upon by the client.
- The appearance of our equipment will be neat and pleasing to the eye.
- We will maintain all sound and lighting equipment in good working order and have backups for all critical equipment.
- We will be respectful and courteous to the client and guests at all times.
- We will make every effort to respect the wishes of the client and their guests in regards to music selection.

Curtis established Music Man Productions in 1988 while working as a radio DJ in Iowa City. He's performed at nearly 1,000 events, including more than 800 weddings, over the past 37 years. He also coordinates bookings for the rest of the Music Man team. Curtis and his wife Amy live in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Ron has hosted hundreds of successful parties and wedding receptions over the past 25 years. His personality, love for all types of music, and a passion for entertaining helps him put all his energy and expertise into every event to make each one special. Ron and his family live in Urbandale, Iowa.

Sean Murphy has been entertaining central Iowans for almost 40 years. His ability to read the crowd and play the right song at the right time will keep your dance floor packed all night long. Sean lives in West Des Moines with his wife and family.

Cody Ries has over 15 years of experience as a mobile entertainer. His clients love his attention to detail, kindness, and great energy. Cody and his family live in Indianola.
