Curtis Dean, Owner
Service Area: Central, North Central, and Northwest Iowa
Curtis started Music Man Productions in 1988, and since then has provided music and hosting services for nearly 500 weddings, parties, and other events.
Curtis is now based in Ankeny, Iowa and provides services in central Iowa. During the day, he is a Telecommunications Services Coordinator at the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities. In addition to IAMU and Music Man Productions, Curtis is an instructor for the Department of Homeland Security, teaching a course called "Dealing With The Media: A Short Course For Rural First Responders".
Curtis has also been active in his community over the years, serving as board chairman of the American Red Cross, board president at Spencer Community Theatre, and various other leadership roles.

Chris Dean, Partner
Service Area: Eastern Iowa
After serving as a sometime roadie in his high school days and hosting a few events of his own, Chris Dean attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon where he received BA degrees in philosophy and politics. Upon a return to Spencer in 2009, Chris became a partner in Music Man Productions and began flying solo in 2010. Since then he has hosted over a dozen weddings and other events to rave reviews.
Chris has combined comprehensive training as a DJ and host with his own personality to serve his clients with a passion for excellence. Chris is also legally qualified as a wedding officiant and has served in that capacity at several weddings.
Chris now lives in Hiawatha, Iowa and is a customer support specialist at GoDaddy.com. He's engaged to be married this fall, and-no-he doesn't have to DJ his own reception!

Eric Meeter, Partner
Service Area: Northwest Iowa
The newest member of the Music Man Productions team is Eric Meeter. Eric is a graduate of Spencer High School and Dordt College who has returned to his hometown to lay down roots.
In addition to being a mobile DJ, Eric is a video services assistant at Spencer Municipal Utilities and co-host of "In The Spotlight" on The Spencer Channel.
